Love Shady - sass & bide: 16.09.12

Have you been checking out any of the offerings from London Fashion Week?!

On Friday my fav. Australian designer duo Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton of sass & bide presented an amazing collection,"Love Shady". The girls described their offering as "born on a trip to Buenos Airies and Puru - but more about the energy and feeling of those places than the aesthetics" as told to Style.com.

My week in review: 05.09.12

The milestone:

Well this week if you don't follow me on Instagram you would have missed all my picy's from the big milestone birthday - the big dirty 30! I was having a few anxiety attacks leading into this day but it came and went like every other birthday,however it has definitely got me thinking about the future and I have a few exciting projects in the pipeline (ill keep you posted) and a new found health kick.

The attire:

Well, as of Saturday spring officially began and hasn't it been the most amazing weather! I'm feeling all summery and colourful and cracked out the brights and stripes today, oh and my new Hermes bangle, the b'day pressie from hubby.

I'm wearing bassike stripe tee, jac + jack emma pant (last season), Hermes cuff and necklace from Madame Pompidou in Byron. 

The peplum:

What do you think of the Peplum tops that are showing up E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E? I wasn't quite on board with this look it kinda reminded me of something  Molly Ringwald would have worn in Pretty in Pink or Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, not that i have anything against 80's fashion hey I was a product of the 80's, but Paula Joye of Lifestyled (one of my all time favourite reads) modelled this little number from Scanlon and Theodore during the week and well I'm kind of a little in love! This one is cotton and a little deconstructed than the normal peplem style, which suits me just fine. What do you think??

New Product: Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid Makeup 24.08.12

So this week I ran out of tinted moisturiser.......sacrilege! I know I know, but hey when you and bub are sick makeup and looking pretty is the last thing on your mind as most of you mums would know!  After our bout of the cold/flu we were going off to lunch when I realised that I had nothing to put on my face!!!!Thank god for those free sachets that come with most fashion mags, usually I don't even look at these but this time I went riffling through my latest editions and the 1st one I came across was the Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid Makeup and I was pleasantly surprised. So off I hoped to DJ's and picked me self up some.....I'll let you know what I think of it after a few wears.I think it might be a goodie for summer, nice and light.

Wardrobe Moment: 01.08.12

Ever since Carrie Bradshaw sashayed in to our lives way back when, I have as i am sure many woman have, dreamt about having a walk in robe filled to the brim with amazing designer outfits, bags and shoes. Well.....it may not be a walk in robe and it may not be filled to the brim with designer goodies but we are getting our new wardrobe installed! Woop Woop! I have just ordered from mei + picchi some white timber hangers and now looking at some storage boxes to store all my winter goodies. I'll keep you posted with some images of our wardrobe as it is installed.
