I must apologise for my absence this last fortnight.....it has just been so insanely busy! Going away, baby, work & visiting relatives. I will be back in fine form tomorrow to tell you all about my travels down south.

Koskela: Quadrant Soft

Yesterday morning my May edition of Real Living Mag arrived in the letter box and without even having to open the front cover I knew this was going to be a goody and boy was I was right! The front cover is of Tom Williams home whom is co-owner of home wares store Project 82 and creator of cool interiors for retail and hospitality design business Juicy designs, so in other words a bloke with a great sense of style and taste! Which is clearly evident......check out the rest of his home on page 82.

The one thing that caught my eye from this cover shot, and has now made it to the top of my wish list for my home is the Fluro pink denim Koskela Quadrant soft single seat. LOVE.LOVE.LOVE.

 The Quadrant Soft system is made from high density foam and has no timber frame, creating a super plush, lightweight seat and can be added to with additional seats to create a modular system. Koskela offer an extensive range of fabric & leather covering options, if you are not into the fluro pink.

But really, what could be better than a touch of pink to brighten up your day! I am thinking this might be a good 30th birthday pressie..... hint hint my lovely husband xoxo.

The Week that was: 6.4.12

What a week..... the floor boards for majority of our house were started and completed this week and what a massive difference it has made.......check out the before & after shot! I know in a previous blog I had mentioned that I had made the decision of going with a lime washed board....sadly this had been discontinued and the alternate options just didn't tickle my fancy, so we went with NSW brushbox, which looks great against white and probably a little more fitting with the style/era of our house.

New in: since I have not wanted to leave my house,cause I am just soooooo in love with my new floorboards I have been a tad naughty and have treated myself to some on line retail therapy. A little Bassike or Country Road anyone?!  If you haven't seen or checked out the all new looking bassike on line shop make sure you do!It is highly addictive. 

  Below are my country road purchases, these fabulous Quilt jersey jumpers which are just perfect for the "mummy sports chic look" I am trying to rock this winter.

and finally I was lucky enough to catch up with my good friend for a vino and lunch on Wednesday. Baby O, Josh and I went to the new Merewether surfhouse which was just divine....perfect weather (as you can see), perfect food, perfect company!

Where do I begin......if you are like me you would find it so hard to purchase nice, good quality ,different baby blankets and sheets, there are the stock standard brands that you find in all the baby stores and department stores BUT on this very rare occasion I have come across what might be the best baby blanket find yet to date......Sunday Ganim! Not only are they knitted in Melbourne, Australia and made from quality 100% Egyptian cotton or 100% Merino wool they come in cool-as-a-cucumber Stripes (I am such a sucker for a stripe) or a damask inspired print......Gorgeous!I think Baby O might be getting a new stripy blanket....
